2009.10 Desktop Calendar

Yep, it's that time of the month again, time for your new desktop calendar courtesy this month of ParkGallery PetPics.

During this past summer, I spent a lot of time in the waters of the Sammamish Slough at Marymoor Park for more than a few reasons, not the least of which was our unusual (to date) temperatures, climbing over 100F (>40C) on several occasions.

On one of those excursions, I found a cute Lab puppy named Josie playing in the water.  I rather like this photo on several counts, not the least of which is the perspective (I was enjoying the water as much as the dogs), the textures and patterns of the water as she swims along, and her pink tongue's shape as she brings a tennis ball back to land...

Given the weather we have started to receive in the Northern Hemisphere, this imge is a nice reminder of what we enjoyed just a few short weeks ago :)
